Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily production operations to meet delivery schedules and quality targets.

• Lead and supervise production teams, ensuring optimum utilization of manpower and resources.

• Coordinate with PPC, Design, Quality, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely material availability.

• Monitor production performance, efficiency, and output metrics to ensure adherence to targets.

• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices and process improvements.

• Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, safety norms, and company policies.

• Identify bottlenecks and initiate corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve throughput.

• Manage and control production costs while optimizing resource utilization.

• Conduct regular reviews, training, and performance appraisals for production staff.

• Prepare production reports and metrics for management review.

• Drive initiatives for workplace discipline, team development, and continuous process optimization.

Desired Skills & Attributes

• 4-5 years of experience in production management, preferably in cable assembly, wiring harness, or related electrical/electronic manufacturing industries.

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering discipline.

• Proven experience in production planning, workflow management, and manpower supervision.

• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices. • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and exposure to ERP/MRP systems.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Commitment to quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,800.55 - ₹35,000.00 per month
