Production Manager

The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the entire production process to ensure efficient, compliant, and safe manufacturing operations. This role requires strong leadership, strict adherence to GMP guidelines, and the ability to coordinate across departments to achieve production targets within quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans as per the demand plan.
• Achieve monthly production targets within defined timelines.
• Execute production activities as per approved BMR/BPR.
• Monitor yield, productivity, and process efficiency; implement improvements.
• Ensure adherence to CGMP, WHO, ICH, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in FDA, MHRA, WHO, and internal audits; ensure timely CAPA closure.
• Maintain proper documentation and data integrity; follow SOPs strictly.
• Supervise production supervisors, operators, and technicians.
• Conduct training on SOPs, safety, and production processes.
• Plan manpower allocation and shift schedules.
• Ensure availability, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment.
• Coordinate with Engineering for preventive and breakdown maintenance, and equipment qualification.
• Monitor batch-wise critical parameters for process consistency.
• Coordinate with Stores, QA, QC, R&D, and Supply Chain for seamless production flow.
• Monitor RM/PM consumption, wastages, and rejection rates; optimize costs.
• Review and approve BMR/BPR, logbooks, change controls, and production records.
• Prepare MIS reports on production, productivity, and yields.
• Support process validation, tech transfer, and scale-up activities.

Skillset:

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Hands-on experience with production equipment and process troubleshooting.
