Production Manager

1. Oversee general production management duties and responsibilities.

2. Lead the production team (Production In-Charge, QC, Store, etc.).

3. Plan and manage daily duty rosters and shifts.

4. Organize and direct day-to-day operations to meet and exceed customer expectations.

5. Improve production efficiency, asset utilization, and flexibility while minimizing costs and ensuring quality standards.

6. Ensure production output, product quality, and timely dispatch.

7. Optimize resource utilization for maximum results.

8. Implement strategies aligned with company initiatives, ensuring clarity of direction and focus.

9. Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions when required.

10. Recruit, manage, and develop plant staff while maintaining strong work relationships.

11. Collect and analyse operational data to identify waste reduction opportunities and minimize overtime.

12. Ensure compliance with plant safety protocols and ISO requirements, maintaining accurate documentation and audit records.

13. Develop systems to monitor productivity, standards, metrics, and performance targets.

14. Address employee concerns and grievances fairly.

15. Stay updated with best practices in production management.

16. Coordinate with the R&D department.

17. Learn and perform retorting processes as required.

18. Suggest product modifications and identify alternative raw materials without compromising quality, to reduce costs.

19. Ensure overall quality control of bulk products.

20. Oversee hygiene and food safety activities.

21. Test and evaluate raw materials and finished goods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
