Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager with experience in Fabrication. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing fabrication processes, optimizing production workflows, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety standards. This role is crucial for meeting production targets while ensuring machines’ performance and quality are consistently maintained.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Coordination

• Develop and implement production schedules for OWC, Biogas & BioCBG machines in alignment with project timelines and customer requirements.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and maintenance, to ensure smooth production flow.

• Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment required for fabrication.

2. Fabrication Process Management

• Oversee fabrication of various machine components (cutting, welding, assembly, testing) as per technical specifications.

• Supervise and guide production staff to ensure adherence to SOPs and fabrication best practices.

• Identify and resolve fabrication challenges or bottlenecks to maintain uninterrupted production flow.

3. Quality Assurance & Control

• Ensure all fabricated parts meet stringent quality standards, and perform regular quality checks throughout production stages.

• Implement corrective actions for defects identified during inspections and testing.

• Collaborate with the QA team to establish quality benchmarks and control processes.

4. Maintenance & Equipment Management

• Ensure all fabrication tools, machines, and equipment are properly maintained to avoid downtime and delays.

• Perform regular checks, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of production machinery.

• Work closely with the maintenance team to resolve technical issues swiftly.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations in the fabrication area.

• Conduct regular safety training sessions for staff.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and internal safety policies.

6. Process Optimization

• Continuously evaluate and improve fabrication processes to reduce lead times, improve efficiency, and lower costs.

• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to streamline production and minimize waste.

• Stay updated with new manufacturing technologies and adopt them where appropriate.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of production processes, QC, and maintenance activities.

• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly production performance reports (KPIs, challenges, corrective actions).

• Communicate production progress to senior management and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
