Job purpose

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of manufacturing processes to meet production goals, quality standards, and cost objectives. Your role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of the production department.

Duties and responsibilities

· Develop production schedules and coordinate manufacturing processes to meet delivery deadlines and production targets.

· Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize production efficiency.

· Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications by implementing quality control measures.

· Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance product quality and production efficiency.

· Lead and manage production staff, including training, performance evaluations, and addressing personnel issues.

· Oversee inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing supply chain processes.

· Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize production capacity.

· Provide regular production reports to senior management, highlighting performance and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.

· Proven experience in a production Management role within a machine shop or manufacturing environment.

· Proficiency in manufacturing processes, machining, and CNC & VMC programming.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.

· Familiarity with quality control methodologies and standards.

· Effective communication and leadership abilities.

· Proficiency in CAD/CAM software is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
