Production Manager

Role & responsibilities

The Production Manager will be the technical and operational lead for our chemical manufacturing facility, responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-efficient production. This role involves managing the entire production lifecycle, optimizing processes, and ensuring strict compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

• Production Planning:

  Develop and execute production schedules to meet volume, quality, and deadline targets.

• Safety & Compliance (SHE):

  Enforce strict adherence to all EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) and regulatory protocols (e.g., OSHA, local chemical handling laws).

• Quality Management:

  Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet required specifications (e.g., ISO standards).

• Process Improvement:

  Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing) to optimize production efficiency and reduce operating costs/waste.

• Team Leadership:

  Supervise, train, and manage a team of operators and supervisors, maintaining high productivity and discipline.

• Resource & Inventory:

  Manage raw material inventory, resource allocation, and budget control for the production department.

• Cross-Functional Coordination:

  Liaise with R&D, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams for seamless operations and project execution.
