MARKETING MANAGER-B2B-CHEMICAL

Job Purpose:

To lead the marketing and sales strategy for the companys chemical product lines, drive business growth through effective market penetration, manage client relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver revenue targets and market share expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:

    • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to increase product visibility and sales.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
    • Forecast demand and create go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
  • Sales Management:

    • Meet or exceed sales targets for chemical products across assigned regions or sectors.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
    • Lead and support the sales team to ensure consistent performance and growth.
  • Product & Brand Management:

    • Manage the product lifecycle, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
    • Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to address customer feedback and innovate.
    • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across marketing materials and channels.
  • Marketing Communication & Campaigns:

    • Plan and execute trade shows, conferences, digital campaigns, and industry outreach programs.
    • Oversee the development of sales tools, brochures, and technical data sheets.
  • Budget & Reporting:

    • Prepare marketing budgets and ensure optimal use of resources.
    • Monitor ROI of campaigns and initiatives and report performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with Masters in Marketing (MBA preferred).
  • 5–10 years of experience in B2B marketing/sales of chemicals or industrial products.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical markets, products, applications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and site visits.
