Job purpose

Hydrobenz Industries Pvt Ltd. is a leading player in the machine shop industry, specializing in precision engineering and manufacturing. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tooling Engineer.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Inventory Management: Keep track of all tools and equipment in the store.

2. Ordering and Receiving: Place orders for new tools and equipment, and handle their receipt and inspection.

3. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and inventory levels.

4. Issue and Return: Manage the issuance and return of tools to employees, ensuring proper documentation.

5. Stock Rotation: Implement a systematic stock rotation system to ensure the use of older tools first.

6. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety regulations regarding tool storage and handling are adhered to.

7. Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors for timely deliveries and resolve any discrepancies.

8. Reports: Generate regular reports on tool consumption, orders, and stock levels.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in tooling and inventory management within a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with various tools used in machining processes.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Communication: Good communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications.
