Tooling Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Tooling assistant manager to join our team in managing and maintaining a range of injection molding machines and molds. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient tool changes, maintaining machine uptime, and adhering to quality and safety standards.

1. Tool Management:

- Manage and maintain over 100 molds for 20+ injection molding machines.

- Ensure accurate tooling setup, calibration, and maintenance.

2. Machine Operation:

- Operate and monitor injection molding machines to meet production targets.

- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to minimize downtime.

3. Tool Changeovers:

- Perform efficient tool changeovers to minimize production downtime.

- Ensure all tools are properly stored, labeled, and maintained.

4. Quality Control:

- Monitor product quality and report any defects or issues.

- Collaborate with quality team to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.

5. Safety and Compliance:

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

6. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest changes.

- Participate in training and development programs.

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience as a Tool Operator in an injection molding environment.

- Strong knowledge of injection molding machines and tooling.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
