Production Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer with a strong background in CNC/VMC Programming, manpower supervision, and ISO 9001:2015 factory documentation for our manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Gujarati and have proven capabilities in production planning and team coordination. Key Responsibilities • CNC/VMC Programming: Develop, edit, and optimize CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and VMC (Vertical Machining Center) programs for efficient production. • Manpower Handling: Supervise, train, and allocate tasks to production floor teams; monitor attendance and ensure discipline and productivity. • Production Planning & Control: Create and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet delivery and quality targets. • ISO 9001:2015 Documentation: Prepare and maintain documents as per ISO standards, including process flows, quality records, maintenance logs, and calibration and audit records, especially those covering production planning to dispatch. • Process Improvement: Analyze production data to achieve continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and cost reduction. • Machine & Tool Maintenance: Coordinate preventive maintenance, breakdown management, and ensure optimal equipment uptime. • Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality, conduct root cause analysis for nonconformities, and drive corrective/preventive actions. • Communication & Reporting: Liaise with cross-functional teams, prepare production and quality reports, and highlight issues proactively. Required Skills & Qualifications • Technical Diploma/Degree: in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field. • CNC VMC Programming: 2+ years of hands-on programming and operating experience. • ISO Documentation Knowledge: Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 QMS documents, especially for production and factory workflows. • Manpower Management: Previous experience supervising operators or shop floor staff. • Language: Fluency in Gujarati (Required), with good communication skills in Hindi and/or English preferred. • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. • Proficiency in standard manufacturing software or ERP systems is an added advantage.
