Production Engineer

Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on and supervisory experience in sheet metal fabrication, including CNC press brake bending, laser cutting, metal stamping, welding, and powder coating processes. A strong command over CNC Bending operations — including machine programming, tool selection, bend allowances, and part accuracy — is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of sheet metal fabrication – stamping, laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, powder coating. • Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards. • Interpret engineering drawings and ensure parts are manufactured as per specifications. • Optimize machine setup, tooling selection, and production flow for maximum efficiency. • Perform nesting and cutting sequence optimization on laser cutting machines to minimize material waste and maximize output. • Lead a team of operators and technicians, providing training and enforcing process discipline. • Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions. • Work closely with the Quality team to ensure zero-defect output. • Coordinate with planning and dispatch teams for smooth workflow and timely deliveries. • Assist in implementation of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure machinery is in good working condition.

Qualifications and Education Requirements • 5+ years’ experience in sheet metal industry. • Strong knowledge of CNC Bending / Press Brake machine and Laser Cutting. • Strong communication & leadership skills to manage shop floor staff effectively.

Preferred Skills • Strong understanding of sheet metal processes – like CNC bending/ press brake, laser cutting, welding, etc. • Exposure to ERP systems and basic production reporting tools. • Preferred Languages: English, Hindi, Marathi.

Additional Notes: This position reports to the Plant Head / Operations Manager and is a key contributor to the overall success of the Machine shop.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
