Production Engineer

Location: Dhumal Nagar, Vasai (East), Mumbai
Qualification: B.E. / Diploma (Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial)
Experience: 2–4 years
Salary: Based on Experience/ ₹25,000–₹30,000/month

The Production Engineer will manage day-to-day production operations, material flow, manpower allocation, and SAP-based production processing. The role ensures timely execution of local and export orders while maintaining quality, productivity, and stock accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

• Plan production schedules for local & export orders.
• Check material availability; highlight shortages and coordinate with Stores & Purchase.
• Allocate raw materials to workers; track material movement on the shop floor.
• Maintain finished goods (FG) and sub-assembly stock levels.
• Maintenance & Upkeep of Machines & tools
• Prepare material for inspections and update monthly FG stock.

Manpower Management

• Monitor daily headcount and ensure workers have required materials/tools.
• Shuffle and allocate manpower based on workload and skill sets.

SAP & Documentation

• Create and process SAP Production Orders; amend BOM for project orders.
• Generate export packing lists, audit documents & weight calculations in Excel.

Packing & Dispatch

• Ensure accurate packing as per packing lists and order requirements.
• Coordinate dispatch schedules; supervise loading & stacking for local/export shipments.

Quality & Compliance

• Maintain required quality standards across all stages.
• Coordinate with QC team to resolve process issues.
• Maintain machine maintenance documents for audits.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
• Knowledge of mechanical/production processes
• SAP Production Module (preferred)
• MS Excel skills
