Graduate Trainee Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a recent engineering graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing of industrial safety products such as personal protective equipment (PPE), safety systems, or hazard monitoring devices. This role offers a great opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic, safety-critical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day operations of the production floor, assembly line, or quality control.
• Learn and apply manufacturing processes, machine operations, and safety protocols.
• Support engineers in the design, testing, and implementation of safety product components.
• Monitor product quality and participate in inspections, testing, and root cause analysis of defects.
• Maintain documentation for production processes, test results, and compliance reports.
• Participate in training programs related to ISO standards, safety regulations, and lean manufacturing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, R&D, and Maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• Fresh Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineers or with 1 or 2 years of experience, or an Engineer/Science Graduate with an MBA.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with safety norms and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001) is a plus.Proficiency in MS Office, CAD tools, or PLC programming (based on department) is an advantage.
