Job Description

Job Title: Process Engineer Department: Production / Manufacturing Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head Job Purpose: To develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods by analyzing workflow, equipment layout, and production costs to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase output. Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements and new technologies. Conduct time studies and root cause analysis for production bottlenecks or quality issues. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Work closely with quality, maintenance, and production teams to resolve issues and enhance productivity. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, downtime, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Support installation, testing, and validation of new equipment or production lines. Train operators and technicians on new processes or equipment. Maintain accurate documentation of processes, changes, and performance metrics. Key Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Hands-on experience with manufacturing process simulation tools and data analysis. Familiar with safety protocols and compliance in manufacturing settings. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field. 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/process engineering role. Experience in hardware manufacturing industry. Salary : 30-40k
