Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Production Engineer to oversee and optimize manufacturing operations for our irrigation products. The ideal candidate will have a strong Electronics, Electrical, turbulence and machinery background in production planning, process improvement, and quality control, with a focus on achieving operational efficiency while maintaining product standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Plan, monitor, and control daily production activities to meet delivery schedules and quality standards.

·      Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.

·      Analyse production data and generate reports to support decision-making.

·      Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

·      Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, quality, procurement, and maintenance) to resolve production issues.

·      Develop and maintain production documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process flows.

·      Assist in capacity planning, layout planning, and equipment procurement.

·      Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.

·      Monitor machine utilization and plan preventive maintenance in collaboration with the maintenance team.

·      Train and supervise production operators and ensure adherence to standard processes.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

·      2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production role; experience in the irrigation or Electronic, Electrical & Machinery industry is preferred.

·      Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., injection moulding, extrusion, assembly lines, Electrical, Turbulence ).

·      Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·      Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

·      Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.

Preferred Skills:

·      Experience with product manufacturing & Shop Floor Handling.

·      Knowledge of ISO/Quality Management Systems.

·      Exposure to CAD or mechanical design tools is a plus.
