Job Description

As a Product Specialist, your primary responsibility is to drive sales and business growth of sports medicine and upper extremities products, which includes implants, instruments, and capital devices. This entails building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, providing technical support, and achieving sales targets within your designated territory. Key Responsibilities: - Promote and sell the SM & UE product portfolio to surgeons and hospitals - Identify and develop new business opportunities - Meet and exceed sales targets - Conduct regular sales visits, product presentations, and demonstrations to healthcare professionals Customer Relationship Management is a crucial aspect of your role. You will be required to: - Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, and key decision-makers - Provide post-sales support and address technical queries - Ensure customer satisfaction for repeat business Market Analysis is also a key component, involving: - Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback - Identifying opportunities and challenges - Collaborating with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and promotional activities Your Planning & Forecasting responsibilities will include: - Preparing and submitting sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management - Ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all sales activities Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role include: - Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets - Growth in new accounts - Retention rates of existing clients Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bachelors in Pharmacy, or a related field; MBA is advantageous - Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the medical device or orthopedics industry, preferably with Arthroscopy or Arthroplasty or Trauma - Strong knowledge of the Arthroscopy market - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Willingness to travel extensively within the territory - Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first approach,
