JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Calibrating all medical equipment and machines, along with their parts, ensuring proper documentation of details such as warranties/guarantees, EMC/CMC, etc. Re calibrating faulty machines after servicing. Maintaining proper documentation of machines, including service dates and calibration history. Performing thorough checks of machines and medical equipment post-servicing. Liaising closely with other medical professionals, such as doctors and therapists, as well as with end-users (patients and their carers). Discussing and resolving issues with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and marketing departments. Assessing potential markets for products or modifications suggested by health professionals or others. Arranging clinical trials for medical products. Approaching marketing and industry companies to promote and sell products. Writing reports and attending conferences and exhibitions to present work and latest designs to technical and non-technical audiences. Meeting with senior healthcare staff or other managers to exchange findings. Responding to technical queries from hospitals. Testing and maintaining clinical equipment.
