Description
The role of developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with top-tier commercial clients, serving as a trusted advisor, and aligning solutions with their overarching business goals is crucial. You will contribute to sales policies and targets, engaging with internal teams for effective solutions. Your responsibilities include coordinating and owning account plans for strategic commercial accounts, focusing on larger deals, portfolio management, and selling the organization's offerings. You will identify customer requirements, map them with the organization's capabilities, and choose the respective direct/indirect supply chain. Building professional relationships with clients up to the executive level and developing a core understanding of unique business needs is essential. Furthermore, you will engage with partners to improve win rates on selective deals, achieve and manage quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly sales quotas. Your role will involve developing and executing sales strategies and territory account plans to drive significant revenue growth and expand market share. You will lead contract negotiations with clients to secure profitable deals while maintaining positive relationships. Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions will be part of your responsibilities. Entering and updating opportunities in the pipeline tool, recommending and implementing pipeline management practices, and leveraging existing opportunities to expand into multiple business units within the account are key aspects of your role. Regular business reviews with clients to assess their satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement will also be necessary. Recommended education includes a Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically, candidates should have 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in account management, tele sales, product specialty (computers, printers, servers, storage), or a related field, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience. The preferred certification for this role is Certified Technology Sales Professional (CTSP).
