Product Specialist

Summary of the Role:

Support the Product Management (Engine Additives) team to defend and grow the business comprising of

Heavy Duty Commercial, Large Engines, Passenger Car Motor Oil and Small Engine business in India,
Middle East & Africa (IMEA) region in line with the regional growth strategy.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Working alongside the Product Management, Sales & Technology team, the Product Specialist will be responsible for supporting our various business units as well as customer activities in the following area:

• Conduct Market analysis, competition mapping and analysis to identify market trends and present to the Product Management and Technology team to ensure agility and speed in translating market trends into
  new product ideas
• Ensuring product related literatures, presentations and documents and up to date.
• Support Product Management in Pricing analysis, Non-moving stock analysis and keep a track on actions suggested.
• Monitor business requests and ensure the commitments are met by working with Product Management team.
• Collaborate with Marketing Communications to create and update promotional and marketing collateral of promote products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering/mechanical engineering, or related field
• Business Management degree would be added advantage.
• Freshers/maximum 2 years of experience in the lubricant, chemical or related industry.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time and to participate in global discussions (evening meetings)
• Excellent Communication & Presentation skills.
