Job Description

GTS Sales (Trade & Supply Chain Finance / CMS)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Experience:

    12–18 years in the Banking industry, preferably in Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management Solutions (CMS), Export/Import financing, Discounting, LCBD, LC/BG, Government mandates, and Payable/Receivable products.
  • Education:

    Graduate / Post Graduate.
  • Age:

    Up to 38 years.
  • Performance:

    Last year’s performance rating must be at least the

    second best rating

    in the current organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth

  • Act as the

    single point of contact (SPOC)

    for clients on all GTS product requirements.
  • Achieve business targets jointly with business segments across

    FX, Fee income, Interest income, Trade FB Book, NFB, and CASA.

2. Client Coverage & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities.
  • Drive engagement to

    increase adoption

    of GTS products.

3. Client Solution & Service

  • Partner with clients to

    structure and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Ensure smooth service delivery by coordinating with Ops and other teams for issue resolution.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with

    Product, Risk, Compliance, IT, Ops, and Solution Delivery teams

    for seamless delivery of products.
  • Oversee sales handover to implementation teams.

5. Sales Process Management

  • Manage the

    end-to-end sales cycle

    – from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Coordinate with legal, operations, and technology teams to finalize agreements.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify ways to

    enhance client experience

    and GTS product performance.
  • Review

    pricing, positioning, and market competitiveness

    .
  • Address underperformance proactively.

7. Mentorship & Development

  • Guide, train, and mentor junior team members.
  • Build a

    high-performing sales team

    with consistent target achievement.
