Job Roles & Responsibilities

1. Product Audit (PA)

• Conduct periodic audits of vehicles/components at various stages — in-line, end-of-line, and post-assembly.
• Verify compliance with specifications, functional requirements, and visual standards.
• Document audit findings, classify defects by severity/impact, and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams for RCA & improvements.
• Track audit trends and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Conformity of Production (COP)

• Strong understanding of

  WVSCoP, ISC & IUPR, and CSFC

  .
• Ensure production processes consistently meet type approval norms (CMVR, AIS, BS VI).
• Execute COP tests as per regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate with homologation & testing agencies for submissions and approvals.
• Maintain documentation, traceability, and readiness for internal/external COP audits.

3. Budget Management (CAPEX/Revenue)

• Plan and prepare CAPEX & Revenue budgets.
• Track actual vs. planned expenses; optimize via integration of activities.

4. Resource Management

• Manage resources effectively and ensure high engagement.
• Drive improvements through Kaizens and other initiatives.
• Ensure accurate data management and dashboard preparation.
• Analyze customer concerns and lead closure actions effectively.

Education, Experience & Skills

Essential Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech / M.Tech – Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
• 3–6 years of experience in automotive quality assurance (vehicle quality preferred)
• Hands-on experience in Product Audits and COP processes
• Knowledge of CMVR, AIS, ISO/IATF 16949, and automotive regulatory norms

Preferred Certifications

• Internal Auditor – IATF 16949 / ISO 9001
• Exposure to COP audit protocols & regulatory compliance systems

Skills & Competencies

Must Have

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Proficiency in quality tools (7QC, CAPA, FMEA, Control Plans)
• Excellent data management skills with zero-error mindset
• Good communication, documentation & reporting abilities
• Ability to work in fast-paced production environments

Desirable

• Experience in customer concern analysis and structured problem-solving
• Exposure to digital dashboards, power BI, or similar tools
