Product Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities

Go-to-Market (GTM) Ownership

  • Lead launch planning for new products, features, offerings, work with product, academics and sales for the full funnel to launch planning
  • Partner with Performance, Brand, Growth, Sales, and Academic teams to drive user acquisition, retention & monetization
  • Own the success/ failure of the product marketing launches. Plan new initiatives to take the product on the growth path

Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Define and communicate compelling product positioning and differentiated value propositions for parents and students
  • Craft audience-focused messaging and narratives for various learner segments/ products

Customer Insights & Segmentation

  • Conduct deep customer research—needs, adoption drivers, pricing sensitivity
  • Build personas and journey maps to sharpen communication and conversion flows

Differentiation Creator + USP Generator

  1. Act as the differentiation matter for each product or cohort—identify, craft, and defend what makes us uniquely valuable
  2. Collaborate with Academics, Product, and Pedagogy teams to surface hidden advantages (e.g., faculty quality, engagement tools, learning science)
  3. Translate functional benefits into category-defining narratives (e.g., “NEET Prep with Emotional Intelligence Coaching”)
  4. Conduct competitor teardown workshops to map claims vs. realities and reposition accordingly.
  5. Continuously test user value perceptions to ensure messaging resonates and evolves with market maturity.

Lifecycle & Growth Marketing

  • Proven track record of launching products/features successfully in B2C(preferred)/ B2B environments
  • Drive onboarding, activation, engagement, and retention strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to grow product metrics like DAU/MAU, stickiness, adoption of key features, subscription conversions, renewals

Content & Campaign Leadership

  • Build product storytelling across marketing touchpoints (website, app, CRM, landing pages, videos, sales narratives)
  • Enable sales and counselling teams with training, scripts, product decks and battle cards

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Track competitive landscape, pricing moves, and market trends to inform product decisions and GTM strategy

What

  • 6–8

    years of experience

    in product marketing, lifecycle/growth marketing, or consumer marketing
  • Prior

    B2C experience

    is preferred
  • Strong understanding of customer research, funnel analytics and insight-driven marketing
  • Proven success in GTM initiatives that drove, full funnel product launch, user growth and engagement
  • Ability to translate product capabilities into simple, meaningful messages, track success metrics
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Academics
  • Excellent communication, storytelling and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-first mindset with experience using analytics tools
