Product Manager

Job Summary:

Coordinate the app development, YTA website populating, media and communications strategy, coordinating efforts for Digital Accessibility

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategise and lead initiatives on digital accessibility under YTA, including outreach to developers using accessibility reports.
  
• Oversee development, maintenance, and smooth functioning of the YTA app, including bug tracking, user feedback, and updates for version 2.
  
• Manage and regularly update the YTA website with blogs, events, and key information, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and timely content reviews.
  
• Execute and monitor social media activity as per the content calendar, ensuring regular engagement across formats like reels, stories, and static posts.
  
• Lead team performance, track progress against KRAs, and support the development of two team members through training and evaluation processes.

Accountability:

• Report directly to the YTA Head regarding the progress, challenges, and developments within Yes to Access
  
• Ensure alignment with organizational goals, budget management, and operational protocols for the Yes to Access Project
  
• Ensure transparency, ethical conduct, and full compliance with the organization’s standards and policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in computer science or graphic design
  
• 2-3 years experience in technology solutions and communication related work
  
• Skills relating to communication, strategy, planning, teamwork, outreach
  
• Technical knowledge of web and app development

• Project Management – To effectively oversee app development, website updates, and team performance while meeting timelines and deliverables.
  
• Communication & Stakeholder Engagement – For coordinating with developers, managing outreach, and ensuring clear, accessible content across platforms.
  
• Digital Accessibility & Tech Awareness – To guide accessibility initiatives, identify app and website issues, and contribute meaningfully to product improvements.

Working Conditions:

• Onsite – APD office Bangalore
  
• Regular working hours, with limited travel
