Job Description

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns (digital, offline, and events) to build awareness and generate demand
  • Organize product demonstrations, workshops, and participation in industry conferences/exhibitions
  • Create Marketing collateral and presentations
  • Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and market potential
  • Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
  • Analyze project funnel and submit accurate forecast for production
  • Demo stock management
  • New product launch & coordination for regulatory requirements
  • Product training to Sales and Marketing team internally and end users (externally)
  • Reporting - Regular reporting to update about the activities & progress

Market Development

  • Plan, Co-ordinate and execute Marketing programs to create pull in the market for entire range of IC product portfolio.
  • Responsible for launch of new product / product Line.
  • Responsibility for conducting and executing Symposium/ Marketing program / CME / Conference right from initiation to execution in consultation with the sales / Head - Marketing.
  • Identify and work closely with key architects, construction companies and project consultants for business development.
  • Provide product technical information to Bio-Medicals / CSSD Managers -Technicians / IC Nursing Heads/ Consultants by discussing/detailing the feature benefits and precision execution of routine tasks.
  • Creating Marketing tools/Collaterals as and when required.


Training Support

  • Responsible for Training for IC product line.
  • Initiate/Conduct/Facilitate internal product and technical training for sales and other team members/distributors to meet objectives.
  • Conducting operational training to end user, follow-up trainings and troubleshooting
  • Co-ordinate with other Product Managers for operational training to end user during the project completion / final handover.


Sales Support

  • Support the sales team with product knowledge, training, and strategic selling tools
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities with consumables and equipment bundles
  • Attend or at times drive product related technical discussions for projects, tender and flow business
  • Hand hold and develop new sales rep’s on priority to ensure that they are confident in promoting the product to the customers.
  • To closely work with Sales team to introduce and promote to Consultants / Architects / Surgeons / Technicians / Purchase authorities during all pre and post sales activities.
  • Provide cost support and attend commercial negotiations along with the sales team as and when required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) in infection control, hospital administration.


Other

  • Track sales and organize stocks
  • Maintain & Analyze sales data and take corrective actions to address areas of concern in consultation with the Head - Marketing.
  • Handling complaint related to products from customers on Equipment’s and co-ordinate with appropriate person for feedback and resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned by seniors/management to support team.
  • Customer Visits on regular basis individually and with sales colleagues
  • Ensure all marketing and product communications comply with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and quality certifications
  • Stay updated with evolving regulatory requirements and industry guidelines


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmacy.
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Healthcare Management (preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience in medical equipments, devices, consumables preferably in infection control industry.
  • Proven track record in managing technical products and consumables.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of infection control practices and healthcare workflows.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and sales teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear marketing messages.
  • Innovative, proactive, and result driven.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions

  • This role requires regional travel.
  • Travel anticipated to average 30% annually but may vary depending on project needs.
