Job Description:

Lead and deliver end-to-end NPD project brief, ensuring all products are manufactured on time, all internal and external quality standards are met, and comply with safety protocols.
Monitor raw materials and finished goods stock levels, optimizing inventory to meet demand while minimizing waste or overstock.
Collaborate with China product development teams to introduce new raw materials and manufacturing techniques aligned with market trends and customer expectations.
Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high product quality.
Ensure that all products comply with applicable local and international regulations, including proper labelling, documentation, and safety standards.
Work with our sales/marketing/ R&D department on the development of the NPD pipeline.
Monitor regulatory compliance of products and ingredients to ensure our products are safe and meet customer expectations.
Development of ingredient lists and nutritional panels in line with regulatory best practice.
Conduct shelf-life assessments on NPD and existing products and communicate performance.
Work with ingredient suppliers to develop innovative solutions through flavors and texture enhancements.
Work with the R&D department on product enhancements, management of product variation, and process improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong knowledge of functional ingredients and food processing.
Solid understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP, HALAL, and quality system.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop products aligned with customer and market expectations.
Strong project management skills, communication, and presentation skills.
Passion for food innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience Requirements:

5+ years of experience in product development within the raw material or ingredients manufacturing industry
Bachelor's degrees in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition Science, Agriculture, or related disciplines
