Role Overview:

1. Hands-on experience in sourcing and developing components within the mechanical, Electronics, mechatronics or electric vehicle (EV) sector. In this role, you’ll leverage your domain knowledge to collaborate with suppliers, refine products for manufacturability, and contribute to our growing portfolio with a focus on future-ready mobility solutions.
2. Strong foundation in sourcing and developing structural or mechanical assemblies. Ideal for someone experienced with large or load-bearing components, this role involves working on high-integrity designs while optimizing cost, manufacturability, and performance.
3. This position is ideal for someone with experience in designing and developing automotive interiors or accessories.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & prototype wheelchair frames, drive modules, and ergonomic components.
• Assist in gathering insights on market needs and consumer trends to inform product development.
• Engineer lightweight, robust load-bearing structures (FEA validation).
• Integrate motors, batteries, and control systems with structural design.
• Collaborate with vendors for precision fabrication and quality delivery.
• Conduct testing for durability, safety, and compliance.
• Optimize materials and processes for cost, weight, and performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of product specifications, changes, and manufacturing processes. Provide regular updates to the program manager and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• B.E./M.E. in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2–4 years’ experience in product development (mobility, automotive, or structural products).
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping.
• Exposure to EV/mechatronic systems is a plus.
