Product Development Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Power Electronics Design Engineer with a passion for R&D, circuit design, and product innovation. The candidate will lead the design and development of advanced solar inverters, power converters, and control systems for our renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test power electronic circuits for solar inverters, charge controllers, and related systems.
• Lead R&D initiatives for new product concepts, prototypes, and technology improvements.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and simulations using design tools like Altium, MATLAB/Simulink, or PSpice.
• Conduct performance analysis, thermal management, and component selection for efficient system design.
• Collaborate with embedded, mechanical, and production teams to ensure design integration and manufacturability.
• Troubleshoot and optimize circuits for safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare design documentation, test reports, and technical specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in power electronics design and development.
• Strong knowledge of DC-DC, DC-AC, and AC-DC converter topologies.
• Experience with microcontroller-based control systems and PWM techniques.
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC design standards and power device selection (MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, simulation, and prototyping skills.
• A passion for innovation, R&D, and renewable energy technologies.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

• Experience in solar or battery-based power systems.
• Knowledge of IoT-based energy monitoring or control.
• Familiarity with firmware or embedded C programming.
