Hiring on behalf of Audio - Technica Job Summary The Technical Specialist and Trainer serves as the primary liaison between internal teams, external partners, consultants, and end-users for all audiovisual technology needs. This role focuses on developing and delivering high-quality, engaging training programs to enhance stakeholder knowledge and skills related to our brand and product offerings. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication abilities and proven experience in both technical support and training environments. Key Responsibilities - Partnership Liaison: Serve as the key communication bridge between channel partners, AV engineers, consultants, and end-users to ensure seamless information flow regarding brand products, applications, and operations. - Training Development: Design, plan, and create comprehensive technical training materials including presentations, manuals, documentation, and hands-on exercises for both classroom and e-learning platforms, adapting content to meet diverse educational needs. - Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions covering product features, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for wired and wireless microphone systems, monitoring systems, and conference solutions. - Technical Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert for complex audio systems and provide advanced product support to internal and external teams. - Business Support: Support business development activities and strengthen customer and partner relationships through educational outreach and technical support initiatives. - Reporting and Management: Provide monthly and quarterly reports to senior management while maintaining and updating the training database and course materials. Required Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Audiovisual Technology, Information Technology, Communications, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in AV design, installation, and training. - Proven experience in audio engineering, sound technology, or related fields. - Experience in training or mentoring technical staff, preferably in audio-related roles. - Have a deep understanding of audio theory, audio-video systems design as well as wired and wireless microphones, radio frequency technology, radio frequency channel management, conference systems and audio digital signal processing. - Certification in AV system design, installation and operation from reputed manufacturers and knowledge of related software platforms. - Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage learners with varied technical backgrounds. - Ability to design and deliver effective training programs. Desired Skills - Certification in AV systems (CTS, Manufacturer certifications) preferred. - Knowledge of networking basics for AV integration. - Familiarity with hybrid meetings and webinar technologies.
