Job Description

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

Develop prototypes for EV motors, controllers and Starter Motors
Identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues during development
Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability and product robustness
Participate in design reviews and contribute to DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly), and prototype control planning
Maintain detailed records and reports of prototype builds
Operate and maintain developmental equipment, tools, and instruments
Deliver prototype products to internal and external customers on schedule
Apply lean manufacturing principles during prototype development
Work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required

Personal /

Prototype development of Motors and Controllers
Parts development of PDC, Sand cast, Plastics, In-situ molded, Sheet-metal, Machined and fabricated items, etc.
DFM, DFA, Control Plan, GD&T
PCBA handling
