Product Developer

Location : Cochin (WFO) Job Type : Full-Time Experience : 3 - 4 Years Objectives of this role Conducting product research and competitor analysis to understand consumer preferences and market dynamics in India. Defining product specifications, features and performance requirements based on market demands. Generating creative and innovative ideas and concepts for new products or product enhancements. Creating prototypes and conducting testing to validate product designs and functionalities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design and manufacturing, to ensure successful product development and timely launch. Monitoring product development timelines, budgets and quality standards. Conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses to determine the viability and profitability of new products. Managing product documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals and other marketing collaterals. Roles And Responsibilities ✓ Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. ✓ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. ✓ Implement front-end designs using modern web technologies, ensuring consistent and responsive UI/UX. ✓ Develop and integrate backend services and APIs, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange. ✓ Manage database schemas and queries to optimize data storage and retrieval processes. ✓ Utilize version control systems effectively to track changes, manage codebases, and collaborate with other developers. ✓ Troubleshoot and debug issues across frontend and backend components, providing timely resolutions. ✓ Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, suggesting and implementing improvements. Qualifications And Skills Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular. Experience with backend development using languages and frameworks like Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Java. Strong understanding of database management systems including SQL and NoSQL databases. Hands-on experience in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services into applications. Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git, for collaborative development and code management. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a logical approach to finding solutions and debugging issues. Knowledge of UI/UX design principles to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Experience working in agile development environments, embracing iterative development and continuous improvement. Preferred skills and qualifications Master’s degree in product design, engineering or a related field. Knowledge of quality assurance, product testing and product optimisation. Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and user-centred design principles. Experience in agile project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum. Proficiency in using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software . Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and make informed product decisions. Familiarity with intellectual property rights and patent processes. Experience in collaborating with international teams or working in a global context.
