As an Experience Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our core data and analytics platform. The Digital Pulse squad is the central engine of our data ecosystem, responsible for integrating, processing, and serving data that powers insights across the organization.You will be responsible for transforming complex data and powerful backend capabilities into intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces for our stakeholders. Working closely with product managers, data architects, and data engineers, you will apply your design expertise to create seamless experiences for dashboards, data exploration tools, and analytics platforms. What you'll be doing:

Product Design & Execution
- Contribute to the end-to-end UX design process, from concept exploration and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups and prototyping.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into user-centered design solutions.
- Design intuitive and frictionless interfaces for data-heavy applications, including analytics dashboards and reporting tools.
- Create detailed user journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Apply human empathy to understand the pain points and needs of our users, ensuring our data products are both powerful and easy to use.

User-Centered Problem Solving
- Apply strategic design thinking to solve complex user challenges related to data consumption and analysis.
- Develop process maps and user stories to improve the end-to-end experience of interacting with our data platform.
- Design interfaces that encourage the adoption of new data tools and foster data literacy among users.

Prototyping and User Feedback
- Develop interactive prototypes to test and validate design concepts with end-users and stakeholders.
- Support and participate in user testing sessions (e.g., usability testing, A/B testing) to gather feedback and make data-driven design decisions.
- Focus on reducing friction and improving the usability of the platform to help users become proficient quickly.

Iterative Design and Improvement
- Incorporate feedback from user research, analytics, and performance metrics to continuously iterate and improve on designs.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking feedback and exploring new ways to enhance the user experience.
- Work with the team to implement micro-learning opportunities and tooltips within the interface to provide in-the-moment guidance.
🛠️ Design Systems and Consistency
- Utilize and contribute to our established design system to ensure consistency and coherence across the platform.
- Help develop and refine UI components and design patterns that support the scalability of our data products.
🤝 Collaboration
- Partner closely with product managers, data engineers, and data architects to ensure user-centered design principles are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in workshops and design sprints to align with the cross-functional team on project goals and solutions.
- Clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to the team and stakeholders.
What you'll need:
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on web applications, particularly data-focused products.
- Proven experience in applying human-centered design principles, from user research and journey mapping to prototyping and usability testing.
- Strong hands-on skills in creating wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems and UI component libraries.
- Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in fast-paced, iterative development cycles.
- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience designing for complex data applications, analytics dashboards, or enterprise-level software is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with designing for AI-powered platforms or integrating machine learning outputs into user experiences.
- A data-driven mindset, with experience using analytics to inform design decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
