founding Associate Product Manager
who will wear multiple hats across:
- Product insights & feedback loops
- AI-driven operations & automation
- Customer support & success
- Demos & Revenue expansion.
Responsibilities
This is a
cross‑functional, hands‑on role
for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from scratch, and loves using AI tools to solve real‑world problems at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Product & Customer Insights (~30%)
- Translate customer conversations, ticket patterns, and usage signals into clear product problems, opportunity briefs, and lightweight specs / user stories.
- Partner with engineering to prototype, experiment, and ship improvements; close the loop with users.
- Maintain a lightweight customer‑validated backlog; help with prioritization rituals.
- Customer Success & Support (~25%)
- Engage with customers to resolve support tickets, guide onboarding, and ensure retention / satisfaction.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers and engineering; reproduce issues and capture context for faster fixes.
- AI‑Driven Operations & Automation (~25%)
- Identify repetitive processes across customer support, internal ops, and sales — then automate using AI tools, APIs, and no‑/low‑code platforms (Zapier, Make, Retool, GPT / LangChain, etc.).
- Build or integrate tooling that streamlines workflows and improves data flow across systems.
- Revenue Growth: Sales Support & Upsell (~20%)
- Join founder / sales in calls, demos, technical deep‑dives; tailor product value to prospect needs.
- Surface usage insights that signal expansion; help craft upsell motions.
- Contribute to improving the sales process with AI & automation (playbooks, demo environments, follow‑up sequencing).
Prerequisites
- Native Operator: Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and no-code AI tools.
- Product & Growth Orientation: Able to frame problems, comfortable with pitching, customer demos, and understanding revenue growth levers.
- Technical Comfort: Can work with APIs, automation platforms (Zapier, Make, Retool), and basic scripting is a plus.
- Customer-First Thinking: Deep empathy for customers and a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Startup Hustler DNA: You’re proactive, self-directed, and thrive in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in SaaS, AI startups, customer success, sales engineering or product operations.
- Active contributor to AI communities (X/Twitter, Discord, blogs).
- Familiarity with building and automating internal processes beyond the basics.
