About The Team

Workday is hiring a Procurement Systems Manager to join our Procurement Systems team, a key part of the Procurement Center of Excellence. This high-impact, high-visibility role is crucial for developing and implementing a forward-thinking procurement strategy. You'll use your expertise in procurement technology to develop, implement, and lead solutions using Workday's suite of Spend Management products. As a collaborative, resourceful, and independent self-starter, you'll partner with functional teams shaping change and getting results.

About The Role

This high-impact, high-visibility role is crucial for developing and implementing a forward-thinking procurement strategy. You'll use your expertise in procurement technology to develop, implement, and lead solutions using Workday's suite of Spend Management products. As a collaborative, resourceful, and independent self-starter, you'll partner with functional teams shaping change and getting results.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives ensuring all program elements are aligned with strategic goals.
  • Partner with business units to gather and analyze requirements, designing and implementing efficient, scalable solutions that adhere to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for procurement systems, proactively identifying inefficiencies and proposing innovative solutions to enhance performance and user experience.
  • Oversee all aspects of system administration, including configuration, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure optimal system health and performance.
  • Develop and deliver targeted training programs and support materials to ensure effective adoption and utilization of new systems and features across the organization.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and expertise for procurement system projects, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Procurement Systems Management, with a deep understanding of the full Source-to-Pay process.
  • Proven experience in implementing, administering, and supporting SaaS procurement platforms for Workday Spend Management (or similar systems)

Other Qualifications

  • Experience in designing and deploying new systems and processes at scale, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience in automation technologies (RPA, AI)
