Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist, your role will involve sourcing and managing indirect materials and services to support various operations effectively. You will be responsible for executing sourcing strategies, identifying vendors, and assessing their capabilities to enhance the supply chain. Your key responsibilities will include: - Sourcing & supply management for indirect materials and services - Monitoring purchase contracts and service agreements - Building relationships with vendors and customers for on-time delivery and quality - Quality inspection, assurance, process, and product development - Compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) norms - Implementing strategic methodologies in sourcing for on-time deliveries and cost savings - Vendor identification, evaluation, rating, and development - Ensuring quality standards and control systems are in place - Handling import, export, and customs clearance procedures - Establishing relationships with global stakeholders for efficient logistics Additionally, you should have good communication and presentation skills, experience in sales tax and excise related to purchasing, and the ability to travel up to 25% of the time. With a minimum of 3-6 years of experience and a BE Mechanical education standard, you will play a crucial role in optimizing procurement processes and ensuring operational efficiency.,
