Procurement Manager

Job Title: Procurement Executive Department: Procurement / Purchase Location: Virugambakkam Employment Type: Full-Time ( 8AM - 5PM ) Salary - Upto Rs. 18000 based on experience Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to manage the purchasing and sourcing of materials, products, and services. The successful candidate will ensure that procurement activities are timely, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational requirements. You will play a key role in vendor management, contract negotiation, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Key Responsibilities: Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and select vendors based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines. Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods/services. Maintain procurement records, price lists, and vendor databases. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory/warehouse teams. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure reliable supply chains. Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities for savings. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, production) to align purchasing with project or operational needs. Resolve any issues related to delayed shipments, quality concerns, or contract disputes. Prepare regular procurement reports and updates for management. Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Min 1 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles (experience level can vary depending on your needs). Strong negotiation and communication skills. Good knowledge of sourcing and vendor management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
