Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Executive

Job Overview: Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the procurement of goods and services necessary for the organization's operations, will work closely with various departments to meet their procurement needs while adhering to budgetary constraints and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing Suppliers: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors, assessing their capabilities, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Bids: Prepare and distribute RFPs and bid invitations, review responses, and negotiate contracts with selected suppliers.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and price negotiations to obtain the best possible deals while maintaining quality standards.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and resolving any supplier-related issues.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts, optimizing the procurement process.
  • Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with finance teams to create and manage procurement budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that procured goods and services meet quality and performance standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and reports.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements to make informed procurement decisions.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (may vary by organization).
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of procurement software / MS office / Advanced Excel.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
