Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to manage and execute maintenance activities for Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission lines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of EHV operations, line inspection, troubleshooting, and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and preventive maintenance of EHV transmission lines (220kV, 400kV, 765kV, etc.). Conduct line inspections, identify faults, and ensure timely repairs. Supervise maintenance crews and ensure work is performed safely and efficiently. Coordinate with substations, grid operators, and field teams during outages and repairs. Prepare maintenance logs, inspection reports, and fault analysis documents. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and government regulations. Handle emergency breakdowns and restore lines in minimum downtime. Assist in planning shutdowns and maintenance schedules. Requirements: Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering. 3–7 years of experience in EHV transmission line maintenance. Strong knowledge of transmission line components, tools, and safety equipment. Familiarity with tower climbing, hot line maintenance, and live line work (preferred). Understanding of grid systems and protection coordination. Preferred Skills: Ability to work at heights and remote locations. Certified in electrical safety and line maintenance (if applicable). Good communication and team coordination skills.
