Job Description

Position: Procurement Executive

Department: Supply Chain / Procurement

Location: Janakpuri, Delhi

Reporting To: Procurement Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Executive to manage purchasing activities, vendor relationships, and tender processes. The role requires strong negotiation skills, vendor management capabilities, and the ability to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes including purchase requests, purchase orders, and vendor documentation.
  • Handle tenders by preparing compliance sheets, vendor quotations, and negotiating for the best rates, services, and delivery terms.
  • Source, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors to ensure availability of quality products and services.
  • Monitor purchase department functions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
  • Oversee vendor management, order processing, material verification, and timely delivery of goods.
  • Conduct product inspection, ensure packaging standards, and coordinate with logistics for smooth dispatch.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Maintain procurement-related reports, records, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, production, finance) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Track and manage budgets, supplier performance, and inventory requirements.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain management practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement tools.
  • Knowledge of tendering procedures and compliance.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (preferably in manufacturing, export, or medical equipment sector).
  • Familiarity with international trade, vendor contracts, and logistics will be an advantage.
