About the Job

Position Manager - Process Engineering 

Type - Full Time 

Location - Bangalore  

Qualification - BE/B Tech Mechanical or BE/B Tech Chemical  

Experience - Min: 4+yrs

Roles and Responsibilities

• Take a lead in technical design, evaluation and process development of compressed Biogas 

plants for active projects of industrial partners or third parties. 

• Review process design deliverables, including PDB ( process design basis ) , PDS ( process data 

sheet) , PFDs  ( Process flow diagram) ,P&ID ( piping and instrumentation diagram), HMEBD ( 

heat  mass and energy balance diagram), process equipment specification , Control philosophy , 

utility sheet , DP-DT ( design pressure and temperature data), MSD ( material selection and 

safety), HAZID ( Hazard identification) , Ex zone (Zone classification PSFS( Process safety flow 

scheme), O&M philosophy, LCA analysis,  Sequence of operation , OISD layout   or any 

equivalent 

• To undertake and evaluate suitable technology for different projects and spearhead techno-

economic assessments. 

• Lead work in coordination with multi-disciplinary engineering sections ensuring that both the 

process design aspects are met and the project abide with the regulations (CPCB, PESO, Factory) 

• Work closely with vendors and select technology suitable ensuring data accuracy and clarity. 
• Participate in techno commercial meetings and provide support to clients 
• To maintain good HSSE culture and ensure safe and compliant operation. 
• Lead a team of process and proposal engineers and proactively sharing technical expertise and 

interests. 

• Troubleshoot, define and document Operational parameters

  ,

  process control plans, safety 

protocols, Qc requitements and workflows during plant design and set up.  

• Active monitoring during commissioning of the plant and ensuring safe operation all throughout 

the plant lifetime 

Must have experiences/skills:

• Well versed in fundamentals of process engineering, mass, energy and heat balance, reaction 

engineering (CSTR, PFR), downstream technologies for gas processing (Adsorption, 

absorption, stripping, VPSA, PSA, desulphurization technologies, Amine synthesis, 

biochemical etc) 

• 5-6 years+ of demonstrated professional experience with a practical background in chemical 

or manufacturing environment 

• A good understanding of above mentioned process design deliverables, including PDB ( 

process design basis ) , PDS ( process data sheet) , PFDs  ( Process flow diagram) ,P&ID ( 

piping and instrumentation diagram), HMEBD ( heat  mass and energy balance diagram), 

process equipment specification , process control philosophy , utility sheet , DP-DT ( design 

pressure and temperature data), MSD ( material selection and safety), HAZID ( Hazard 

identification) , Ex zone (Zone classification), PSFS( Process safety flow scheme), O&M 

philosophy, LCA analyses,  Sequence of operation , OISD layout   or any equivalent. 

• Must have worked closely with other engineering sections and should be capable of 

understanding documents pertaining such as (Electrical load data, drive philosophy, I/O 

count, control philosophy or equivalent) 

• Conceptual design flow sheeting or process simulation -in ASPEN+, PetroSIM or ANSYS fluent 

or an experience in AutoCAD is a plus  

• An experience in doing technology evaluation, Capex – Opex analysis for sections such as gas 

storage, purification, compression, flaring, cascading etc. 

• Knowledge of ASME, BIS, ISO, OISD, IS and API standards
