Instrumentation and Control Engineer

Role Overview: At J&F Biogas, we specialize in providing complete turn-key solutions for establishing biogas plants using cutting-edge biogas technology. Our team of highly skilled design and engineering specialists, with over 40 years of collective experience, is dedicated to designing and building biogas plants globally, focusing on waste to energy systems and innovative CSTR-based Semi Dry Fermentation Technology. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Instrumentation & Controls division, collaborating with stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure successful completion of Biogas Gas Projects. - Plan engineering work schedules, construction, and commissioning schedules with excellent communication and coordination skills across various multidisciplinary fields. - Have complete responsibility for the Instrumentation discipline from Engineering to Commissioning for Biogas Projects, overseeing timely delivery of engineering deliverables and obtaining necessary approvals. - Approve vendor documents, engineering drawings, and instrumentation-related documents, providing assistance to the site construction team during FAT, SAT, and site check approvals from the client. - Pre-commission and commission Instrumentation Systems such as DCS/ESD/F&G, CCTV, and Telecommunication Systems at Yard & Offshore Sites. - Select DCS/ESD system architecture, prepare instrument lists for Control/Safety Valves, HIPPS, Transmitters, Analysers, Gauges, and more. - Develop I/O Lists, Data sheets, and specifications for Control Systems, with familiarity in communication systems for third-party vendors. - Create Instrument hook-up diagrams, Installation drawings, Cable Tray & Cable Routing Layouts, Instrument Location Layouts, Junction Box Location Layouts, and related areas. - Engage in Engineering Co-ordination, Fabrication, Loop Checking, and Commissioning of Instrumentation Systems. Qualifications Required: - Possess instrumentation engineering experience in the Oil & Gas or Biogas Industry, with a background in EPC project execution domestically and internationally. - Knowledge of IEC and API standards, as well as experience in conducting HAZOP and SIL studies. - Well-versed in Control System DCS/ESD/F&G, with expertise in Field Instruments and preparing instrument lists for various components. - Hands-on experience in Engineering Co-ordination, Fabrication, Loop Checking, and Commissioning of Instrumentation Systems will be an added advantage.
