Job Description

As an Assistant to the Technical Services Manager at Atteros, your role will involve assisting in the capacity creation requirements, technology selection, and technology transfer for new sites to ensure they are ready for commercial operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Defining user requirements such as plant capacity, scope, features, and flexibility requirements - Coordinating the preparation of the technology package for new capacity creation, including collaboration with R&D and in-plant teams - Coordinating basic engineering and detailed engineering with consultants for technology transfer documentation - Finalizing equipment specifications and procurement action - Collating data for Environmental Clearances for all plants - Planning, recruiting, training, and assembling a commissioning/operations team for new plants - Providing inputs for securing permissions in a timely manner - Engaging in process optimization, product development, cost reduction, and troubleshooting efforts - Conducting data analytics to support plant optimization In the operational aspect of the role, you will be involved in: - Collaborating with internal R&D and in-plant teams to define functional requirements for new sites - Enabling technology transfer by coordinating with related entities - Reviewing detailed engineering designs for feasibility, cost adherence, and quality - Ensuring compliance with Environment, Health & Safety guidelines and statutory requirements - Participating in Project Review meetings to monitor project execution - Coordinating with other departments for issue resolution and process optimization - Providing inputs for Environmental Clearances and permissions applications - Working on process optimization, cost reduction, troubleshooting, and product development with plant teams - Coordinating manpower planning, training, and transition to the Operations team Financially, you will assist the Technical Services Manager in budget preparation and adherence, as well as in cost savings through value engineering. Regarding people management, your role will involve: - Supporting recruitments for the team as needed - Collaborating with HR on initiatives such as online training, goal setting, and performance appraisals - Fostering a culture of learning, excellence, and innovation - Mentoring and coaching subordinates to enhance team capabilities Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and 5-7 years of experience in Process engineering and Operations management of process plants.,
