Job Description

Key Responsibilities of a Process Auditor: Audit Planning Develop audit plans and schedules based on risk assessments. Define audit scope, criteria, and objectives. Process Review & Evaluation Examine workflows, procedures, and controls. Interview employees and observe operations. Data Collection & Analysis Collect evidence such as documents, records, and logs. Analyze compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Report Writing Document findings, including non-conformities, opportunities for improvement, and best practices. Make recommendations and corrective/preventive action suggestions. Follow-Up Monitor the implementation of corrective actions. Conduct follow-up audits if needed. Skills & Qualifications: Knowledge of standards like ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or internal corporate procedures. Analytical skills to evaluate complex systems. Attention to detail to identify small but critical deviations. Strong communication skills for interviews, reports, and presenting findings. Certification (optional but valuable): Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) – ASQ Lead Auditor training (e.g., ISO 9001) Industries That Use Process Auditors: Manufacturing Pharmaceuticals Automotive Healthcare IT and Cybersecurity Banking & Finance
