Role Overview:

The PR & Influencer Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR, influencer marketing (including affiliate marketing), brand partnerships, and offline event initiatives for Simply Nam, a D2C beauty brand. This role demands a strategic thinker adept at driving brand awareness, engagement, and sales through innovative campaigns and robust relationship management.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Public Relations (PR):

  • Strategic PR & Agency Management: Plan, develop, and implement PR strategies, collaborating with agencies to achieve coverage and communication goals for Simply Nam and Bozzil. Manage agencies by setting clear objectives and evaluating opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising.
  • Content & Media Relations: Create compelling content for press releases, articles, and presentations, coordinating with internal teams for media-worthy topics. Cultivate and leverage media relationships, managing inquiries and securing impactful coverage.
  • Integrated & Corporate Communications: Ensure cohesive messaging across all channels, collaborating with social media teams. Work with the corporate team and founders to maximize coverage and communicate the organization's vision.
  • Performance & Market Intelligence: Monitor, analyze, and report on PR results. Stay abreast of industry trends to inform communication strategies and organize events to elevate brand awareness and thought leadership.


2. Influencer Marketing:

  • Influencer Strategy & Management: Develop and execute comprehensive influencer marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion. Identify, recruit, and build strong relationships with key influencers and thought leaders.
  • Databank & Trend Monitoring: Maintain a detailed influencer databank with performance metrics. Stay current on emerging trends, technologies, and influential figures in the D2C beauty space.
  • Content & Campaign Innovation: Generate innovative content ideas and collaborate with the Brand Head to ensure alignment. Continuously brainstorm and implement creative approaches to influencer campaigns.
  • Affiliate Marketing Development & Management: Build out Affiliate Marketing as a strategic channel and revenue stream, managing the program end-to-end including recruitment, negotiation, material provision, tracking, and optimization.
  • Performance & Budget Management: Provide comprehensive reports on campaign performance (engagement, reach, ROI, including affiliate marketing performance). Monitor financial resources to ensure efficient campaign execution within budget.
  • SOP & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Create clear SOPs for campaign evaluation. Collaborate with marketing and content teams for cohesive campaigns, including product seeding. Provide high-quality influencer content for performance marketing leverage.
  • Sales & ROI Tracking: Implement robust tracking for Influencer Marketing sales, Instagram growth, and ROI, specifically including affiliate marketing efforts.


3. Brand Partnerships:

  • Partnership Strategy & Development: Identify and create strategic brand partnership opportunities to enhance exposure and awareness for Simply Nam. Research potential partners and develop compelling pitches.
  • Relationship & Project Management: Build and nurture long-term beneficial relationships with partners and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time with consistent brand messaging.
  • Growth & Negotiation: Research and pitch new partnership strategies to expand reach. Negotiate efficient agreements and identify viable sales opportunities.
  • Internal Alignment: Collaborate with senior management and marketing teams to align internal goals with partnership strategies.


4. Offline Events:

  • Event Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic calendar of offline events (e.g., pop-ups, launches, workshops) to enhance brand visibility, engage consumers, and drive sales.
  • Logistics & Integration: Oversee all event planning logistics, including venue, vendors, budget, and promotion. Integrate brand partnerships and influencer appearances for maximum impact.
  • Promotion & Performance: Implement pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up. Track and analyze key event metrics to provide comprehensive reports and future recommendations.
