Responsible for leading small to medium sized projects to deliver the agreed outcomes and deliverables within time, cost and quality requirements.Guides and coordinates with all relevant parties to understand and deliver project objectives and KPIs, providing day to day management and leadership of the project and the project team.
You’ll Responsible For
- Develop outputs independently that enable or enhance project delivery, either as a standalone solution or as part of a broader digital delivery piece.
- Monitors, manages and track tasks through an organized system such as Kanban or DevOps (Software Development and Information Technology Operations), including management of source code. Uses this to feedback progress to the lead developer or project team as appropriate.
- Delivers implementing and enforcing role-based security against any assets developed.
- Required to interface with common business systems, such as Excel, Sharepoint, Teams and PMO functional systems (e.g. Aconex) as part of developing outputs and processes.
- Maintain contact with direct stakeholders and ensure developed solutions meet requirements, through contribution to any requirements definition activities and user acceptance testing activities.
- Partners with and contributes to the centre of excellence by providing training and/or documentation in support of an area of specialism or interest.
- Enhances knowledge and expertise, independently explores new techniques and/or technologies to broaden your own understanding.
- Demonstrates alignment to professional development standards of work, for example through achievement of certification aligned to the role.
- Develops effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Manages stakeholders for portfolio.
- Seeks opportunities for improving working processes and continuous improvements.
You’ll Need To Have
- Seeks to improve knowledge and understanding through self-endeavor and/or structured training.
- Independently explores new techniques and/or technologies to broaden own understanding.
- Working towards or achieved a technical accreditation or certification applicable to the role, at Microsoft associate level or equivalent, in at least one area of specialization.
- Holds a Microsoft associate level certification or equivalent, in at least one area of specialization, obtained or renewed within the last 12 months.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously delivering end to end solutions.
- Works independently on larger projects as part of a development team, being responsible for a particular deliverable or area of delivery.
- Shows evidence of organized ways of working, e.g. Kanban board or action tracker, to manage development tasks.
- Maintains version control of deliverables.
- Implements and upholds role-based security and access control to any deliverables produced.
- Demonstrates alignment to application lifecycle management processes (Dev-Test-Prod).
- Advanced proficiency with the chosen tech stack, e.g. highly effective visual layer in Power BI (Business Intelligence).
- Able to devise and build solutions of varying levels of complexity independently.
You’ll Also Have
- 2-5 years’ experience with chosen technology stack (or equivalent).
- Able to articulate the capabilities of the tech stack clearly to business users and project teams.
- Interfaces with other platforms, such as Sharepoint, as part of an integrated solution.
- Some awareness or experience of working with PMO functional systems such as schedule, cost and risk management tools.
- Understanding of relational data principles and experience of integrating data from a range of different source systems.
- Some exposure to User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design and considerations.
- Relevant Programme Management Office (PMO) or construction project experience.
- Able to gather basic requirements and create a task list to manage own deliverables.
- Maintains regular contact with direct stakeholders.
- Manages user acceptance testing, providing handover training and documentation where appropriate.
- Crafts clear and concise e-mails, altering the tone and content for different audiences.
- Speaks with confidence to colleagues, making recommendations based on experience.
- Presents content confidently on areas of specialism or interest.
- Contribute to wider development plan, underpinning development activity for self and others.
- Gets involved in the management and close-out of issues and/or support requests.
- Produces documentation which guides users clearly and accurately through a process or solution.
- Creates or contributes to client-facing reports and recommendations.
