Location : PuneExperience : 5 - 10 Years

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled

PL/SQL Developer

with strong expertise in database programming, performance optimization, and end-to-end data conversion processes. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of working on large-scale data migration projects with tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
Work on end-to-end data conversion lifecycles including planning, analysis, development, validation, execution, and post-load support.
Contribute to large and complex data migration projects with demanding timelines and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, data architects, QA teams, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Maintain clear and detailed technical documentation for development and conversion processes.
Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL code: packages, procedures, functions, cursors, triggers, views, and materialized views.
Apply bulk processing techniques such as BULK COLLECT, FORALL, and array processing for high-volume data conversion.
Perform query optimization and performance tuning using execution plans, indexing strategies, and partitioning.
Implement robust exception handling, error logging, dynamic SQL, and advanced PL/SQL constructs for reliability.
Execute ETL processes through custom PL/SQL scripts for extraction, transformation, and loading of data.
Conduct data validation and reconciliation using PL/SQL-driven reports, audit queries, and automated checks.
Manage database transactions using COMMIT, ROLLBACK, and SAVEPOINT to ensure data consistency.
Use Oracle analytical functions (windowing, ranking, aggregations) for implementing complex business logic.
Design, modify, and maintain database schemas, constraints, integrity rules, and triggers.
Automate database tasks using DBMS_SCHEDULER and DBMS_JOB for scheduled operations.
Debug and tune PL/SQL code using tools like SQL Developer, SQL*Plus, TOAD, and performance monitoring utilities.
Apply knowledge of database security concepts, including roles, privileges, grants, and synonyms.
Work with source-to-target mapping to design accurate and efficient data conversion logic.

Mandatory Skills

Advanced proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development.
Experience with data conversion, ETL scripting, and complex SQL logic.
Strong knowledge of performance tuning, bulk processing, and Oracle database architecture.

Good to Have

Prior data conversion / data migration project exposure.
Experience with Oracle tools, data modeling, or BI/analytics environments.
Familiarity with Cloud (Azure/AWS) for database hosting or migration.
