About the Role

PLC & Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

PLC Programming:
Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs (Siemens & Allen Bradley) using ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams (FBD).
Drive Programming:
Configure and optimize
VFDs and Servo Drives
(minimum 2 years’ experience). Handle drive selection, tuning, and troubleshooting.
System Commissioning:
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure smooth project execution.
Customer Support:
Provide technical support and system maintenance post-installation.
System Integration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate
PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, and automation components
.
Documentation:
Prepare detailed control design documents, logic descriptions, wiring diagrams, and commissioning reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Electrical Engineering
or
Instrumentation Engineering
from a reputed institute.
4–8 years of practical experience in
PLC Programming
(Siemens & Allen Bradley).
Expertise in Servo and VFD drive programming, selection, and optimization.
Strong exposure to
process automation
and
real-time control systems
.
Hands-on experience in
Unified HMI
,
JavaScript/VB Script
for HMI Design, and HMI migration projects.
Proficient in
E-Plan
, circuit diagram interpretation, panel integration, and control panel design.
Knowledge of
switchgear
,
panel layout
, and
BOM preparation
.
Understanding of industrial communication protocols —
Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet
.
Project management experience will be an added advantage.
