Plant Security Head

Purpose/Objective

Manage site security operations aligned with business objectives and the Security Strategy Roadmap. Protect enterprise infrastructure to ensure business continuity and safety for employees and stakeholders. Address fraud and misconduct through a framework for prevention, detection, response, and refinement. Identify threats and calibrate risks via detailed security assessments. Ensure protection of tangible and intangible assets. Manage security automation and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Security Strategy & Governance- Contribute to business security strategy and roadmap. - Align site strategy with group policy. - Lead strategic initiatives and operational excellence. Security Budgeting- Plan and monitor security budgets (Capex & Opex). - Finalize and get budget approval. - Review strategic initiatives and participate in governance meetings. Security Risk Management & Audit Intelligence & Vigilance- Cultivate intelligence sources. - Monitor news and analyze risks. - Conduct risk assessments and audits. - Ensure mitigation and closure of audit findings. Crisis & Incident Management- Design and implement Emergency Response and Control Plans (ERCP). - Lead crisis response and train Quick Reaction Teams (QRT). - Revise plans based on learnings. Security Operations- Monitor operations and ensure SOP/SOG adherence. - Publish weekly MIS reports. - Conduct awareness and training programs. Security Control Room Operations- Oversee control room operations and integration. - Ensure incident escalation and reporting. Patrolling & Surveillance- Manage patrolling and surveillance systems. Man & Vehicle Access Control- Oversee access control and visitor card management. Business Traffic Management- Ensure authorization and authenticity in traffic and material movement. - Suggest improvements for traffic blockages. Investigation & Due Diligence- Investigate incidents and share reports. Protection- Ensure round-the-clock protection of assets. - Conduct security events and manage logistics flow. Performance Improvement- Define and review performance metrics. - Lead process excellence initiatives. Outsourced Manpower Management- Monitor outsourced staff and evaluate performance. - Ensure deployment as per WBS and competency. People Management- Lead talent acquisition and performance culture. Project Management- Drive security technology and infrastructure projects. - Ensure timely execution and integration.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification- Bachelor’s in Business Management or relevant field. - Postgraduate degree preferred. - Certifications: CPP, CFE, TAPA, PSP, PMP (value addition). Must-have Experiences Major Site- 12+ years in Security, 5+ years in leadership. - Experience in access control, traffic management, risk assessment, surveillance, etc. - Budget management and regulatory compliance. Medium/Minor Site- 10+ years in Security, 5+ years in team leadership. - Similar operational experience as major site. Preferred Experiences- Analytical and multitasking skills. - Military experience preferred. - Experience with top management and technology implementation. - Project management in automation and infrastructure.
