Plant Quality Head

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a quality assurance strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals to ensure high performance and compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor production processes and product quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct regular audits of the quality management system and processes to ensure compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and enhance product quality.
• Manage customer complaints and feedback, conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
• Stay current with industry trends, compliance regulations, and best practices in quality management.
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the same industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Proficient in data analysis tools and statistical software, as well as quality management software.
