Plant Quality Head

Purpose/Objective

The Production Officer ensures accurate real-time entry of production data, efficient handling of materials, and optimal utilization of transit mixers. This role oversees weighbridge operations, conducts quality control inspections, and maintains accurate records in SAP (MIGO). The Production Officer supports R&D initiatives, upholds ethical standards, and fosters transparency in operations. This position also ensures adherence to health and safety regulations, coordinates with logistics, and implements policies to mitigate compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Production Management: - Maintain real-time entry of production data in SAP (MIGO) for accurate reporting. - Ensure efficient handling of materials to prevent stockouts and optimize usage. Equipment Management: - Manage transit mixers (TMs) to ensure maximum utilization and efficiency. - Oversee weighbridge operations and ensure proper calibration and maintenance. Quality Control: - Conduct visual inspections of incoming materials and coordinate with lab technicians for quality assurance. - Maintain plant calibration and cleanliness standards. Documentation and Compliance: - Maintain accurate inward and outward records for all items in SAP (MIGO). - Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies. Resource Management: - Follow up on store orders and maintain optimal inventory levels. - Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery and resource utilization. Operational Efficiency: - Monitor the cycle time of TMs and optimize their availability. - Ensure the accuracy of material measurements and moisture content assessments. Innovation and Development: - Support R&D initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality, focusing on implementing new technologies and methodologies. Ethical Standards: - Uphold ethical standards and integrity in all business dealings. - Promote a culture of transparency and fairness across the organization. Policy Adherence: - Adhere to policies that guide operational activities and decision-making. - Implement policies and procedures to mitigate compliance risks effectively. Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical), Industrial Management, or related field. Work Experience (Range of years) - 3+ years of experience in production management, preferably in the RMC industry. Industry Knowledge - Production management, equipment and inventory management, quality control, documentation compliance, resource management, innovation, ethical standards.
