Develop and monitor policies and procedures across all relevant operational areas.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment that supports all manufacturing activities.
Ensure effective implementation of management systems (RC_OH&S, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and others) covering Quality, EHS, Security, Occupational Health, Contractor Management, and related domains.
Safeguard the health and safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors at all times.
Ensure continuous statutory compliance for the plant.
Lead and participate in incident investigations and unusual occurrences; identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Conduct departmental safety meetings, ensure compliance with EHS trackers, and deliver Responsible Care (RC)-related training as per plan.
Coordinate with Corporate EHSS experts whenever required.
Act as the Site Main Controller in case of emergencies.
Lead initiatives focused on quality improvement, cost optimization, and safety/environmental enhancements, and drive timely execution.
Foster a continuous improvement culture by motivating and engaging subordinates through regular meetings, discussions, and coaching.

Provide on-the-job training to deputies and ensure smooth implementation of new systems.
Ensure timely preparation and distribution of MIS reports to the leadership team.
Achieve optimum utilization of plant capacity and associated resources.
Establish and maintain Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS/EMS) for the site.
Assist senior management in monitoring cost projections and achieving financial targets.
Work closely with the Finance team to monitor, estimate, and control global production costing activities.
Arrange and facilitate training programs for team members, including in-house and external opportunities.
Maintain operating and capital expenditures (OpEx/CapEx) within approved budgets.
Promote an open and effective communication culture across the site.
Address employee grievances and manage union negotiations to maintain harmonious industrial relations and improved productivity.
Encourage innovation and idea generation among employees.
Support and guide employees through challenging situations, promoting resilience and professional growth.
Implement and support Management of Change (MOC) processes effectively.
Ensure best-in-class manufacturing standards in all operational areas.
